3D-PECUT: 3D Point cloud hiErarchical fusion-based ConvolUtional Transformers for Wire Bonding Inspection

This paper introduces a new transformer-based architecture that seamlessly integrates convolution techniques for the inspection of circuits within point cloud data named 3D Point cloud hiErarchical fusion-based ConvolUtional Transformers or 3D-PECUT where it leverages the strengths of convolutional operations in capturing local features and the attention mechanisms of transformers for holistic contextual understanding and it achieves promising results of 97.29% in wire bonding defect detection in real world application.
