Design of an Intelligent Packaging and Warehousing System Based on PLC and Industrial Robots

Design a flexible filling intelligent packaging and warehousing production line to address the low efficiency and high cost of manual bottling and packaging of granular products, as well as the demand for customized products. Based on Inovance H2U, ABB six axis robots, and machine vision, the production line is divided into particle loading unit, capping and screwing unit, detection and sorting unit, robot handling and packaging unit, and intelligent warehousing unit. The system loads the empty bottles based on the number and color of particles previously written on the RFID electronic label. After capping and twisting, bottles with incorrect particle count and unqualified capping are removed. Qualified bottles are grabbed and boxed by robots. After each box of 4 bottles is filled, robots complete packaging operations such as capping and labeling. The intelligent storage unit sends the packaged products to the designated warehouse. The entire process takes 2 minutes and 28 seconds, with an accuracy rate of 100%, providing reference for the flexible intelligent packaging and warehousing of granular products.
