Agile Blueprint Model Method in the Software Development Process with Increment of Version

A major challenge in the software development process is to ensure coordination between teams. This challenge is most evident in Global Software Development. To minimize the impact, coordination mechanisms can be adopted. This article reports the application of the agile Blueprint Model method in a geographically distributed team working in software development with a major version increment. The application of the hierarchical structure of the Blueprint model had a positive impact throughout software development. However, the methodology does not provide sufficient support for junior developers and presents difficulties when there is a high volume of requirements with changes and new features. With this, it was necessary to take action to deal with the negative impacts due to technical issues presented by teams with limited experience and when the customer does not provide clear requirements.
