OLSR-based Multiple UAV Routing Method Avoiding Collision Due to Link Crossing

We have been studying methods to construct routes for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using protocols for ad hoc networks consisting of smart meter radios. In our previous work, we established an OLSR-based method for constructing optimal routes for UAVs in terms of travel distance and safety. In this study, in order to eliminate the risk of UAV collision due to intersecting paths navigated by multiple UAVs, we propose a method to lock links so that links that intersect with the links used to construct the paths of UAVs cannot be used for the paths of other UAVs. We evaluate and verify the effectiveness and features of the proposed method by computer simulation.
