Air Spaced H Shaped Dual Band Antenna to Cover 5G Mid Band and Wi-Fi 6E Applications

In this paper, the dual-band antenna is designed to cover 5G mid-band and Wi-Fi 6E applications. The antenna is designed with air as a dielectric substrate to overcome the limitation of a microstrip patch antenna. The square patch is truncated as H shaped patch and the probe feed is adjusted to get an impedance bandwidth of 5.8% (3.3GHz-3.5GHz) at 5G mid-band and 12.3%(6.1GHz-6.9GHz) at Wi-Fi 6E band. The antenna shows a gain of 5.5 dBi at 5G mid band and 7.3 dBi at Wi-Fi 6E band.
