Site Selection For Landfilling using Fuzzy AHP And Fuzzy TOPSIS Approach

To pick a landfill location, this research study suggests a unique method that combines the Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS. It first identifies the important selection criteria to assess the relative relevance of the selection criteria while accounting for uncertainties. Then, taking into consideration incomplete data and both positive and negative criteria, fuzzy TOPSIS is used to evaluate probable landfill sites according to appropriateness. The usefulness of the technique in increasing transparent and objective decision-making in site selection for landfilling, addressing complexity and uncertainty in waste management, is illustrated through a case study.
