Magnetic Actuators Based Micro - vibration Suppression in Chinese Space Station

The optical clock, as the ‘heart’ of navigation satellites, requires an ultra-stable optical reference cavity with minimal micro-vibrations for accurate running. This study focuses on the research and development of a super-quiet active isolation unit to mitigate the interference of micro-vibrations on the precision of optical clocks. The main investigations include the active isolator design, voice coil actuator with driver board, DSP control unit and ground experiment verification. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed super-quiet active isolation scheme meets the micro-vibration requirements of the optical reference cavity of space station atomic clocks.
