IAKA: Lightweight Authentication Protocol for Clock Nodes in Time-Sensitive Networking

Time-sensitive networking technology allows periodic and aperiodic data to be transmitted in the same network. With its advantages of deterministic transmission, it has become a research focus in the industry. The technology uses clock synchronization mechanism to ensure the reliability of transmission, but lacks relevant authentication mechanism, so it cannot resist various forms of attacks, such as malicious node attack and tracking attack. Therefore, it is necessary to design an identity authentication protocol for the clock synchronization mechanism to ensure the security of the synchronization mechanism. This paper designs an identity authentication protocol for time-sensitive networking clock nodes and realizes the identity authentication function of global master and slave clock nodes, establishes a secure communication channel for global master and slave clock nodes. Finally, this paper proves that the protocol has more comprehensive security through AVISPA simulation tools, and proves that the protocol has better progressiveness and practicability through detailed literature analysis.
