Efficiency Reinvented: A Pioneering MPPT Algorithm For Unprecedented Solar Power Efficiency

Non-conventional power sources are becoming more popular due to energy crises and rising energy use. To address growing energy concerns and meet the expanding demand for electricity, renewable energy sources have so gained attention. Photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems are an important part of the solution because of their amazing benefits, which include abundance and safety. The inverters that are being used ought to efficiently harness the entire power output of the PV solar system and seamlessly feed that energy into the utility grid, all while avoiding any additional constraints. Advancements in MPPT techniques are necessary to improve energy conversion efficiency, as the importance of solar power as a sustainable energy source grows. This study offers a thorough analysis of using the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) approaches, including P&O, Incremental Conductance (INC), and Hill Climbing, highlighting the merits and limitations of each to optimize PV system power generation. A thorough analysis of these algorithms highlights common drawbacks that add to system complexity and expense, such as sensitivity to changing environmental conditions, convergence problems, and the need for additional sensors. Building on this in-depth analysis, the study concludes that a novel MPPT algorithm is required in order to solve these inadequacies and keep up with the rapidly changing field of solar energy applications. This endeavor aims to significantly contribute to the optimization of solar PV systems by pushing the boundaries of MPPT techniques, ultimately encouraging more cost-effective and efficient renewable energy solutions for a sustainable future.
