Application Prospects for the Unmanned Technology System in Civil Airport Apron Services and Support

This study summarizes existing research findings on the application of unmanned technologies in the operational maintenance of civil aviation airport aprons. It delves into specific airport apron support operation processes to identify which segments can be transformed and upgraded using unmanned or less humanpower technologies. Furthermore, it organizes the critical points and technological challenges encountered during the establishment of an unmanned apron technology system. The paper further outlines the overall technical framework for a comprehensive unmanned apron system in civil airports and successfully constructs a complete simulated demonstration environment for airport apron operations. The aim is to simulate and analyze unmanned apron workflow while also evaluating the performance metrics and technological feasibility of the unmanned apron technology system. Through this research and associated demonstration experiments, it provides a scientific basis for designing and planning the technological route for implementing unmanned apron systems in civil airports.
