Effective Utilization of Existing Solar System

Aiming to improve agricultural output by addressing energy inefficiencies, this review paper investigates the application of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to optimize the transmission of solar energy from solar pumps to farmers' residences. To maximize power generation, MPPT continuously modifies the operating point of solar panels. The paper also covers photovoltaic (PV) technology, which uses semiconductor materials to convert solar energy into direct current power, and energy harvesting systems, which use ambient energy from artificial or natural sources to power wireless devices. The Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm, which maximizes dynamic tracking performance without requiring temperature or irradiance sensors, is used in the research to offer a unique MPPT approach. The suggested system consists of a PV array that is connected to a DC load via a boost converter. The SA algorithm regulates the converter's switching to determine the best operating point. The SA method improves system efficiency in quickly changing settings by simulating the annealing process in materials, which involves gradually cooling to obtain the global optimum solution. The MATLAB simulation results show that the SA-MPPT approach achieves 95% efficiency compared to the previous MPPT methods, which is a considerable improvement in system efficiency. The suggested technique efficiently extracts the maximum amount of electricity from solar panels, offering a reliable and effective way to harvest solar energy for use in agricultural applications.
