Optimized Design of Metamaterial Slab Covered Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna for EMC Testing

When the antipodal Vivaldi antenna(AVA) operates in an ultra-wideband greater than 10 octaves, its full-band performance is difficult to maintain stable, especially the high-frequency band radiation pattern. This article further deepens the previous research results on the metamaterial slab covered antipodal Vivaldi antenna(MSAVA). The optimized MSAVA achieves full band gain enhancement. This method support the application of ultra-wideband antipodal Vivaldi antenna in EMC and other fields.
