Method of Single Characteristic Mode Antenna Scattering Parameter Estimation and Pattern Acquisition

This paper introduces an approach to acquire antenna S parameters and active element patterns in array combined with single characteristic mode antennas in integrated device. The proposed method leverages circuit theory to characterize the electromagnetic signals received by the array system, incorporating considerations for the active element pattern of the array, array scattering parameters, and mutual coupling parameters within the receiving channel.
