Phase-shift Optimization and Trajectory Design for Wireless Communications aided by Double UAV-mounted Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces

Intelligent reflecting surface(IRS) has been regarded as a revolutionary technology to achieve reconfigure communication system and achieve programmable wireless system. The researches on IRS mainly consider there only exist single hop reflection link in IRS assisted communication, the links between IRS are ignored. In this paper, we study a double UAV-mounted IRS assisted wireless communication system with the flight trajectory and the phase design at the two distributed IRSs. Moreover, the phase of UAV-mounted IRS is commonly shared by all the users, we analyze the phase optimization design of single users and multi-user scenarios to maximize the minimum average channel transmission rate. Simulation results have verified the reliability of project and effectiveness of the algorithm.
