Research on Power Efficiency Optimization of Resonant BD-WPT

Compared with the traditional unidirectional wireless power transmission system, Bidirectional Wireless Power Transfer (BD-WPT) not only inherits the advantages of easy operation, no contact spark and leakage, and intelligent management, but also realizes the two-way flow of energy. Therefore, energy interconnection between devices can be achieved, which further improves the flexibility, convenience and utilisation of electrical energy use. In the LCC-LCC-type WPT system studied in this paper, there are three phase-shift angles, and the adjustment of the phase-shift angle can not only regulate the power size, but also determine the direction of power flow. Therefore, this paper analyses the influence of the primary side phase shift angle on the output power from the principle of phase shift power regulation, and then analyses the influence of the secondary side phase shift angle on the improvement of the transmission efficiency from the principle of fully controlled rectification. Finally, the impact of three phase shift angles on power efficiency is comprehensively analyzed for the characteristics of BD-WPT system with three phase shift angles. And the BD-WPT system model is established by Simulink for simulation verification.
