Software Defined Radio-Based Electromagnetic Environment Interference Detection

With the continuous development of electronic communication services, wireless communication services are increasingly affected by electromagnetic signals from other services and equipment, especially radio frequency interference (RFI).Based on this, this article mainly focuses on environments with or without RFI, using software radio as a means to establish a RFI monitoring system, extract the characteristics of signals in different environments, calculate dynamic thresholds, and use signal analysis based on signal spectrum characteristics to analyze several environments. A certain number of signals exceeding the threshold are extracted and saved and an alarm is issued. The results show that the method and algorithm used in this article to incorporate software radio into the alarm system have obvious alarm success rates for RFI in different environments, which is helpful for interference monitoring and alarm in wireless communication, and provides support methods for the use of radio systems.
