Design and Optimization of a Low-Noise Mixer Using Advanced Design System (ADS) for RF Applications

In RF circuits, the mixer is an important component of the front-end circuit to achieve frequency conversion. A mixer design method for improving noise figure and conversion gain was proposed, which utilizes differential pairs to achieve signal processing. It mainly consists of bipolar transistors, local oscillator drive circuits, RF drive circuits, etc. Using ADS software to complete circuit design and simulation, the simulation results show that the improved mixer has significant advantages in suppressing noise and interference, and increasing conversion gain.
