RCS Analysis of Offshore Wind Turbines

with the rapid development of renewable energy sources, wind power has emerged as a significant contributor to clean energy. However, the widespread deployment of wind turbines presents challenges related to their radar cross-section (RCS) characteristics. This paper examines the RCS characteristics of offshore wind turbines. It begins by introducing the basic structure of wind turbines and the theoretical foundation of RCS, followed by a discussion of existing research findings and technical methodologies. Subsequently, RCS simulations are conducted for both a single wind turbine and a wind turbine array. Additionally, a numerical simulation model is developed to analyze the effects of frequency and angle on RCS. Finally, the paper concludes by summarizing the key factors influencing the RCS characteristics of wind turbines.
