Developing and Applying an Essence-based Description of the Attribute-Driven Design Method

In this paper we describe how we adopted the Essence standard to create a description of the Attribute-Driven Design (ADD) method. We first briefly discuss Essence and the benefits that it brings, and then discuss how we applied this standard to ADD. We discuss the forms in which ADD was realized and benefits that this formal representation brings.
