Event - Triggered Exponential Synchronization of Delayed Quaternion - Valued Neural Networks

This article discusses the event-triggered exponential synchronization for quaternion-valued neural networks (QVNNs) with discrete delays. By employing the improved quadratic norm of quaternion, QVNNs can be analyzed as an entirety without any decomposition. Appropriate comparative functions and event-triggered controllers are constructed. Then, by using comparative methods and inequality techniques, event-triggering conditions and sufficient criteria are established to ensure exponential synchronization. Furthermore, the Zeno behavior is eliminated. Ultimately, the effectiveness of the theoretical research obtained is demonstrated through numerical simulations.
