Anti-DoS Modality State Predictive Control for Discrete-Time Switched Systems

This paper proposes a secure control strategy based on modality state predictions for discrete-time switched systems (DSSs) subject to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. A multiple-event-triggering mechanism (METM) is presented to mitigate asynchrony by adding modality matching and attack detection parameters in triggering conditions. An alternative secure controller is designed, which contains predictive and static parts depending on whether attacks occur; when DoS attacks occur, the predictive part is enabled to compensate for missing data during attack intervals and to reduce the asynchronous switching durations; when DoS attacks end, the static part is enabled to reduce computation burden and to use the truth value to improve the overall performance of DSSs. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed methodology is verified by a networked unmanned marine vehicle (NUMV) example.
