Predefined Time Tracking Control of Induction Motors Based on Extended Sliding Mode Disturbance Observer*

To optimize the speed control performance of induction motor(IM), a predefined time sliding mode control method based on extended sliding mode disturbance observer is proposed. Firstly, the non-cascade control structure is used to replace the traditional speed loop and current loop control to simplify the controller structure. Secondly, the ultra-local model of induction motor considering parameter perturbation and external distur-bance is established. Then, a predefined time sliding mode control method is proposed by combining predefined time control with sliding mode control. Meanwhile, considering the influence of external disturbance on the system, an extended sliding mode disturbance observer(ESMDO) is designed to compensate for the lumped disturbance. The experimental results show that the proposed control method can significantly improve the dynamic performance of the system, and has better disturbance immunity and steady-state accuracy.
