Harmony-SE based architecture modeling method for aero-engine gas path system

The development of aero-engines is a typical complex systems engineering task. Traditional text-based systems engineering solution has difficulties in imprecise description and poor traceability. Model based systems engineering (MBSE) can effectively address these issues. This paper proposes an architecture modeling method for aeroengine gas path systems. Guided by the Harmony-SE method, the requirement, structure, behavior and parameter models of the aero-engine air path system are generated by using Systems Modeling Language (SysML). Through the proposed MBSE method, a model is accurately constructed to support the definition of requirements for aero-engines. The parameter models are provided to verify the correctness of requirements for aero-engines.
