Linear-Quadratic Near-Optimal Controls For Discrete-Time Mean-Field Systems

Near-optimization is as significant as the optimal control theory. From the practical point of view, the existence of optimal control has some limitations, which can be compensated by near-optimal control. This paper considers the near-optimality of discrete-time mean-field linear stochastic systems. A necessary condition of the existence of the near-optimal control is obtained.
