Abstract:

This work investigates the rate bumpless transfer (RBT) control issue of switched affine systems (SASs). First, a RBT definition related to the affine term of the SAS is introduced to reduce and suppress the bumps of system rate for the first time. Then, through the joint design of a state-feedback controller and a switching director, a RBT control scheme is proposed. Furthermore, a criterion is provided to enable the SAS to simultaneously satisfy RBT performance and stability. Finally, a turbofan engine simulation example is presented to validate the effectiveness of the suggested RBT control strategy.
