An Improved Fixed-time stability analysis of nonautonomous nonlinear impulsive systems

In this study, we investigated the fixed-time (FXT) stability issues of a nonautonomous nonlinear dynamical system with general impulsive effects. First, we proposed an improved criterion for fixed-time stability of impulsive systems by em-ploying a suitable variable transformation method, Lyapunov function approach and the well-known comparison principle. Compared with previous results, the derivative of the Lyapunov function is allowed to be estimated by more general power-law function with time-varying coefficients. Further, we presented a unified impulsive dependent settling time estimation, where the impulsive influence are fully considered in which the impulsive gains not only can be stabilizing but also can be destabilizing, such that our results are more applicable and comprehensive. Finally, a numerical example is provided to validate the effectiveness of the derived results.
