Research on Energy Management of Electric Aircraft Flight Control-Power Coupling Model

With the proposal of green aviation initiatives and the continuous development of battery technology, fuel cell UAVs are gradually becoming a hot research topic. The energy optimization management and power coordinated control of electric propulsion UAVs during flight have become a key focus of research. The paper proposes a concept of integrated flight propulsion coupling model, coupling the UAV's electric propulsion power supply system and the flight control unit. Model predictive control (MPC) methods are employed to achieve energy management of the system. Experimental validation is ultimately conducted in the RT-LAB and Typhoon-HIL semi-physical simulation platforms. And the feasibility of the proposed coupled model and the effectiveness of energy management have been validated.
