Exploratory Research on Resource Utilization Optimization and Management for IoT Applications

The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized the way people interact with technology, allowing seamless connectivity and communication between devices. However, setting up and managing an IoT ecosystem can be complex and challenging, requiring technical expertise and knowledge of various cloud platforms and protocols. This paper proposes a novel managed IoT service that simplifies the process of setting up and managing an IoT ecosystem. The service offers pre-configured infrastructure, a user-friendly GUI, and leverages code to achieve efficient resource utilization. Additionally, it introduces automatic sensor detection, enabling “plug and play” functionality for seamless integration of sensors. Through the proposed approach, the aim is to enhance user experience, reduce complexity, and optimize resource utilization in IoT deployments.
