Loss Analysis and Junction Temperature Prediction Model of Three-Phase to Single-Phase Converter

When three-phase to single-phase converters are applied in scenarios with high voltage and current, and there is randomness and fluctuation in output power, the junction temperature of each device in the three-phase to single-phase converter often exceeds the rated temperature. Therefore, accurate monitoring of device losses and temperature is necessary to ensure safe operation. In response to this issue, this article establishes a loss analysis model and junction temperature prediction model for each component based on the actual operating conditions of three-phase single-phase three-level converters, achieving accurate calculation of losses and junction temperature for each component of the converter. At the same time, online monitoring can be achieved, and this model can be applied to systems similar to the operating conditions of the converter in this article. Has practical engineering application value. This article builds a three-phase to single-phase three-level converter based on PLECS simulation software, compares the simulation results of each device's losses with the theoretical model, and verifies its accuracy.
