DAB converter current stress optimization based on genetic algorithm

Combined with the application scenario of distributed power supply in the interconnection device, the main DC interconnection unit at the energy storage end needs to meet the factors of high transmission efficiency, stable bus voltage, and bidirectional energy flow. Dual active bridge (DAB) converter has become an important converter unit of multi-port DC converter because of its soft switching capability, high voltage conversion ratio and simple topology. Because of the large on-off loss of traditional DAB converter, the working efficiency is low. In this paper, an intelligent heuristic algorithm such as genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to the optimal shift comparison combination of minimum current stress under extended-phase-shift (EPS) control. The proposed control strategy can reduce the current stress of the converter and increase the power factor by Simulink simulation.
