A Novel Wind Turbine Control Method for Mitigating Power Fluctuations and Cooperative Capacity Configuration for the Stand-alone Wind Hydrogen Generation System

Stand-alone hydrogen production via wind power has garnered increasing attention in recent years. However, a significant challenge lies in the mismatch between the variability of wind power and the stable power demand of electrolyzers. To address this, this paper introduces a novel wind power fluctuation suppression strategy applicable below rated wind speed, employing an enhanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control. This approach effectively reduces the start-stop frequency of electrolyzers, thereby enhancing system stability and economic efficiency. Furthermore, this paper proposes a cooperative capacity configuration strategy for the stand-alone wind hydrogen generation system, aiming to maximize the total lifecycle revenue. Comparative simulations validate the effectiveness and practical value of the proposed strategies.
