Hash Time Lock with Dynamic Premium Based on Credit in Cross-Chain Transaction

Griefing attacks in the cross-chain transaction is that traders may choose to default and abandon the transaction during the transaction, resulting in the defaulted party's assets being locked for a certain period of time, which may cause serious economic losses. In addressing the prevalent challenges of transaction defaults and reduced efficiency within blockchain interoperability, our approach integrates a credit system to regulate premium lock activation, thus preserving transaction fluidity for regular operations. Furthermore, we propose a dynamic premium adjustment model that calculates the premium based on historical price data and the transaction parties' credit. This model aims to escalate the defaulting cost, thereby diminishing the likelihood of cross-chain transaction defaults. Our proposed solution is based on a Hash Time Lock Contract(HTLC) with dynamic premium adjustment mechanism and credit mechanism(DPC-HTLC). Through extensive simulation experiments, our findings underscore the enhanced efficiency and security of cross-chain transactions, offering significant insights into block chain interonerability improvements.
