Automatic Devanagari Text Summarization for Youtube Videos

Devanagari, increasingly used as a major language of internet communication, is also India's official language and widely spoken worldwide. This research focuses on summarization in Devanagari. Text summarization is becoming vital due to the abundance of information available. It aids in understanding documents efficiently, streamlining articles into concise versions. Both extractive and abstractive approaches are used to summarize texts, with extractive methods ranking sentences based on importance and abstractive methods deriving natural language representations. This work aims to comprehensively examine text summarization techniques, emphasizing coherence and reducing redundancy, particularly in Devanagari.
