Mapping of Non-Formal Education in Pastry and Bakery Skills in West Java

This research was conducted in the scope of nonformal education, especially at Course and Training Institutions, Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM), Learning Activity Studios (SKB), and Foundations in West Java. The aim of this research is to determine the mapping of the categorization of skills fields in non-formal education in West Java and employment in the field of pastry and bakery skills. The method used is quantitative descriptive, the data analyzed is in the form of secondary data, namely the number and type or fields of non-formal educational institutions throughout West Java obtained from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Manpower. The research results show that there are 228 nonformal educational institutions. There are 31 skill areas, with the most skill areas is in the skills areaFashion Design 15%, Graphic Design 14%, Pastry & Bakery 11%, Bridal Makeup 11% and Computer Engineering 7%. Through the skills acquired, graduates not only find work but also create new jobs, making them contributors in reducing unemployment rates and improving society's welfare through entrepreneurship.
