Exponential stability of positive switched time-delay systems based on reverse timer method

In this paper, the stability analysis and estimator design issues are addressed for positive switched time-delay systems with reverse timer. Firstly, based on the reverse-timer-dependent linear co-positive Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (RLCLKF) and the average dwell time (ADT) method, a time-delay dependent exponential stability criterion is presented for the considered system. Secondly, a sufficient condition checking the existence of state estimator is derived for positive switched time-delay systems with ADT. Finally, the corresponding results are extended to the case of discrete-time positive switched time-delay systems. An illustrative example is studied to validate our new results.
