Decoupling Control of the Boost Converter Based on Inverse System

The Boost converters are widely used for boost conversion of low-voltage power sources such as lithium-ion battery packs, solar panels and fuel cells. With the requirements for output voltage in special applications, the anti-interference ability of the Boost converter is crucial to ensure the stability of the output voltage. Because of the inherent limitations of traditional small-signal model and linear feedback control, it cannot effectively face the changing situation of the operating points. The large-signal model of the Boost converter is established in this paper. The inverse system theory is used to linearize the model to achieve decoupling of voltage and current, and then the ITAE method is used for optimal controller design. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, the simulation is given in comparison with the conventional algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed method has excellent anti-disturbance ability and the system is more robust.
