Event-triggered Sliding Mode Control of Biological Systems with Beddington-DeAngelis Functional Response

A class of stage-structured predator-prey models with fear effect and Beddington-DeAngelis functional response is investigated in this manuscript. A biological model is established and equilibrium stability analysis is performed. An eventtriggered integral sliding mode controller is designed to ensure the stability of the biological system while reducing the control cost. Zeno behavior is discussed through the lower bound of the execution time among the event-triggered events. Numerical simulation verifies the validity of the proposed event-triggered integral sliding mode control method.
