Pressure Control for Vertical Microgravity Simulation System Based on Hybrid Fuzzy Controller

Ground simulation plays a vital role in the development of spacecraft, and vertical microgravity simulation enhances the accuracy and comprehensiveness of ground simulation, holding significant research significance. This paper presents a vertical microgravity simulation system based on gas cushion technology, outlining its basic components and modeling the characteristics of each part. Due to the working conditions and the operational states, the volume of the system’s gas chamber rapidly changes during pressure control, significantly affecting the dynamic performance of pressure control. In this paper, based on the model of the control system, considering the impact of volume changes in the gas chamber and the nonlinear flow characteristics of the gas proportional valve, a pressure control strategy based on hybrid fuzzy control is proposed. Simulation analysis validates the strategy’s effectiveness in improving control performance. Finally, the control strategy is further verified through physical system experiments.
