Research on Iterative Learning Control of Injection Molding Machine based on PD Variable Gain

This paper deals with Iterative learning control (ILC) design to solve the trajectory tracking problem for the injection velocity of the injection molding machine. A closed-loop PD iterative learning control is proposed. The controller uses the deviation between the actual output of the system and the desired target to correct the unsatisfactory control signal, and the system can track the desired trajectory after several iterations. It has been shown that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable, over the whole finite time interval. This proof is based upon the use of the norm optimality property. Finally, simulation results on MATLAB are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
