Event-Triggered Attitude Control for Rigid Spacecraft With Input Saturation and Limited Communication

This paper designs a robust event-based attitude control algorithm for rigid spacecraft with disturbances and input saturation. Firstly, the attitude dynamics considering input saturation is established. Subsequently, a sliding mode surface is constructed to handle disturbances and a trigger algorithm is developed to reduce the controller update. The bounded stability is proved by Lyapunov theory and the no Zeno is guaranteed by proving that the trigger intervals have a positive lower bound. Finally, simulations show the superiority of the developed strategy in reducing controller updates.
