Gas-liquid two-phase flow measurement based on frequency domain electromagnetic method

It is possible to accurately predict oil production and locate oil through high-precision measurements of gas-liquid two-phase flow water content and conductivity. These measurements are essential for automating the management of oil recovery, monitoring the distribution status of oil and gas fields, and creating focused mining programs. The gas-liquid two-phase flow parameters are found by monitoring changes in the induced eddy currents in the observed object. This is accomplished by using the frequency domain electromagnetic method of gas-liquid two-phase flow parameter detection technology, which is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. First, by examining the detection mechanism and features of the frequency-domain electromagnetic method, the viability of the method for detecting gas-liquid two-phase flow is theoretically confirmed with regard to the application of frequency-domain electromagnetism in medical brain imaging. Second, COMSOL multiphysics field simulation software is used to establish the gas-liquid two-phase flow model in the parallel coil detection pipeline. Simulation analysis is conducted under the umbrella of frequency-domain electromagnetic research, and the simulation results of the electromagnetic induction method for high conductivity gas-liquid two-phase flow detection have a high measurement accuracy. Thus proving the viability of the frequency-domain electromagnetic method’s gas-liquid two-phase flow parameter detection technology. Lastly, the HF2LI lock-in amplifier handles the excitation and demodulation of the electromagnetic sensor parallel to the pipeline, which is intended to detect the gas-liquid two-phase flow within the pipeline. This is consistent with the theoretical derivation and the simulation analysis’s conclusion.
