Construction and Verification of Standard Driving Cycle for Economical Heavy-duty Commercial Vehicles

For high-speed driving scenarios, researchers have developed numerous energy-saving optimization control algorithms for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. These optimization algorithms need to be tested in simulation or real vehicles to verify the energy-saving effect. In view of the test environment of the energy-saving optimization algorithm for heavy commercial vehicles, this paper constructs a road gradient cycle that can reflect the characteristics of the real road as a test environment for the energy-saving control algorithm. In order to verify the consistency of the constructed driving cycle with real road characteristics, this paper designs a driving cycle test method based on the energy-saving potential of the driving cycle. Simulation verification based on the driving cycle shows that the energy-saving potential of the generated driving cycle is about $1 \%$ to $2 \%$ different from the energy-saving potential of the real driving section. It can be considered that the energy-saving potential of the two is consistent.
