Deadbeat Current Predictive Control Based on Dual Three Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

Traditional model predictive control for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors fails to effectively suppress the harmonic current components and exhibits high computational complexity with slow dynamic response. In order to reduce the distortion rate of phase current harmonics effectively and enhance the dynamic response of vector control, a Deadbeat-based current predictive control strategy is proposed for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors. The speed outer loop still employs classical PI control, abandoning the conventional PI regulator in the current inner loop. This Deadbeat approach achieves faster dynamic response performance, effectively improving current response, and enhancing system stability. The strategy boasts advantages such as fixed switching frequency, good dynamic performance, ease of implementation, and low harmonic content in phase current.
