Method for Identifying Critical Branches of Cascading Failures in Complex Power Grids Based on Comprehensive Brittleness

The extensive integration of wind power into the grid will exert a profound influence on the stability of the power system. To address the limitations of the current critical branch identification model, which fails to consider both the power grid structure and operation state, neglects voltage, and employs a single index weight assignment mode, this paper proposes a method for identifying critical branches through a comprehensive brittleness. From a brittleness perspective, this study establishes indices for brittle electric betweeness, brittle power flow distribution entropy, brittle power flow transfer entropy, and brittle voltage deviation taking into account relevant electrical impact factors. The game combination weighting method is proposed, determining the optimal combination weight of intuitionistic fuzzy analytic network process and entropy weight method integrating the four indices to obtain the comprehensive brittleness index. Finally, the proposed integrated brittleness identification method is verified using the IEEE39 bus system, demonstrating its effectiveness and feasibility in identifying key branches comprehensively and reasonably.
