Automatic Oxidant Preparation Method for DC Transmission Cooling Systems of Offshore Wind Power Station

This study carries out an automated oxidant preparation method for DC transmission cooling systems of offshore wind power station, with the aim of providing guidance for selecting seaweed prevention devices. Offshore platforms usually use electrolysis of seawater to prepare sodium hypochlorite solution, which is injected into the seawater heat exchange system to inhibit the breeding of sea organisms and avoid their derivatives from clogging pipelines and equipment. As important equipment of offshore platforms, seawater lifting pumps are immersed in seawater all year round and are very vulnerable to seaweed erosion. Sea life will not only corrode the seawater lifting pump itself but also cause harm to pumping pipelines, valves, filters, coolers and other equipment, reducing the service life of the equipment and affecting the overall operational efficiency of the platform. Therefore, it is crucial to install seawater lifting pumps with seaweed prevention devices. This study focuses on the sodium hypochlorite anti-seabiosis device applied in the cooling system of offshore platforms, analyses its dosing position and corrosion, and puts forward optimization suggestions. The results show that optimizing the dosing position and anti-corrosion measures can improve the effectiveness and provide a guarantee for the safe and efficient operation of offshore platforms.
