A sensorless control method for PMSM Based on FSMO optimized by QIO

The flux sliding mode observer (FSMO) has fast response, strong robustness and can effectively solve the harmonic in flux estimation, which has been widely used in the sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). However, in FSMO, constant sliding mode gain will cause system chattering. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a flux sliding mode observer (QIO-FSMO) method based on quadratic interpolation optimization for sensorless control of PMSM. A novel meta-heuristic algorithm inspired by mathematics, called quadratic interpolation optimization (QIO), is used to optimize the observer gain of FSMO online to improve the chattering suppression ability of the system. The simulation results show that the QIO-FSMO method can effectively improve the chattering phenomenon of PMSM sensorless control system and has strong robustness.
