Gesture Controlled Speaker with LCD

This research work presents a novel approach to interact with a Bluetooth speaker through hand gestures, employing an Arduino Uno microcontroller, APDS-9960 gesture sensor, HC-05 Bluetooth module, and an LCD display. The system is designed to enhance user experience by allowing control over playback functions, volume adjustments, and track selection using intuitive hand gestures. The APDS-9960 sensor captures gestures, translating them into commands processed by the Arduino Uno. The commands are then wirelessly transmitted to the Bluetooth speaker via the HC-05 module. The LCD display provides real-time feedback on the selected mode and system status. The Arduino Uno serves as the central processing unit, orchestrating communication between the gesture sensor, Bluetooth module, and speaker. Through the integration of these components, the project offers a hands-free and user-friendly audio control mechanism. The gesture-controlled Bluetooth speaker finds applications in scenarios where conventional button-based controls are impractical or inconvenient, such as in-home automation or accessibility solutions. The project not only demonstrates the synergy of various electronic components but also explores the potential of gesture recognition technology in improving human-machine interfaces.
