Election Method of Notary Group Based on Block-out Memory

In the cross-chain notary mechanism, a notary is usually an an independent node, institution or organization, and verifies, signs and confirms cross-chain transactions through technical means such as cryptography algorithm, consensus mechanism and so on, so as to ensure the legality and authenticity of cross-chain transactions. This paper proposes a notary group election mechanism and a notary reputation calculation method to enhance the authenticity and legality of the transaction by selecting a high-reputation notary group. This paper also designs a fee computer system to improve the enthusiasm of node participation. All real notaries must reach a consensus to complete the cross-chain notarization, which further increases the security of the transaction. In this paper, the influence of notary group capacity and notary selection threshold on the security of the algorithm is studied by using control variable experiments. The results show that with the increase of the number of real notary groups, the probability of reaching a malicious transaction in the experiment gradually decreases. In the case of the same number of real notaries, the more the number of malicious nodes are, the higher the probability of a malicious transaction is. Under experimental conditions, the threshold has no effect on the probability of a malicious transaction.
