Secured Storage of Smart Grid Events: Blockchain Based on Multi Agents Markov Decision Processes

In the face of growing energy demands, aging in-frastructure, and the imperative to transition towards sustainable energy sources, the traditional power grid is undergoing a transformative evolution: the emergence of smart grids. A smart grid (SG) integrates advanced sensing, communication, and control technologies into the traditional electricity grid infrastructure. By infusing intelligence and automation into every layer of the grid, from generation to consumption, SG promise a multitude of benefits ranging from enhanced reliability and resilience to greater energy efficiency and sustainability. The events generated by the devices in the SG network can be used to diagnose the health of the system and prevent malfunctions. Therefore, reliable storage of these events is important. In this paper, we use a blockchain technology (BT) based on the proof of work (PoW) consensus to ensure data integrity, and we will propose to make this mechanism more environmentally friendly by using the multi-agent Markov decision processes MMDP.
