Revolutionizing Remote Mission Support: A Smart Suit for Tracking and Vital Sign Monitoring

This work introduces a smart system idea for remote tracking and vital sign monitoring to support dangerous and remote missions, both for civil and non-civil purposes such as exploration and border control in remote areas. The proposed system incorporates tracking devices and a health monitoring system into a smart suit, enabling rescue missions to easily locate and assist injured individuals, even if they are unable to communicate their status verbally. By sending acquired data to a central operating room, the system allows for quick assessment of an individual's location and vital signs, ensuring timely and effective assistance in emergency situations. Utilizing remote smart sensors and advanced health monitoring technology, the smart system is designed to accurately assess an individual's condition and vital signs, providing crucial information for medical intervention. Through the seamless transmission of data to the operating room, medical professionals can make informed decisions and take necessary actions to save lives in critical situations. To validate and optimize the system, simulation using Proteus and cisco Packet Tracer is conducted, paving the way for implementation on development boards such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi. A system prototype is implemented and tested. Results of the testing shows the ability and promises of this innovative approach to remote track and sense bio vital to revolutionize crisis management and emergency response in dangerous and challenging environments, ultimately enhancing the safety and effectiveness of missions in remote areas.
